Lyft is a taxi-hailing app. Its fist-bump ethos has long nudged customers to see drivers as peers rather than chauffeurs. This concept uses dots to abstractly represent vehicle positioning, drivers, riders, driving route, platform data, etc., with colorful 2D visual effects. The visual effects of dots are attractive, active and easy to focus on. In addition, the dot is inspired by Lyft's "Amp," which is a device located on the dashboard. Each pixel on the screen is in the shape of a dot—a lot of LEDs and a little bit of happy magic go into each one. This element meets Lyft's high-quality and enjoyable user experience.
